Colby’s recent work follows the process of Storytelling specifically in the context of Los Angeles, relating to narratives driven by the film industry past and present. Colby creates both concept art and artwork in relation to the History of Los Angeles, alongside America’s relationship to fame, in response to social discourse.

Colby Golightly (He/They) grew up in Fort Worth, Texas; and currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California. Colby has been creating since they were young and was award the Texas Young Master’s Grant in 2020. Colby creates work from a personal narrative point of view and enjoys telling stories through visual media.

Colby is a Senior at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) as an Undergraduate in Art and Film.
